1. Documents
You need to write an essay of about 300 words describing:
- your entrepreneurial aspirations and what you hope to achieve by going on OEP
- your personal passion and mission statement
- a time when you failed at something and how you overcame it
You also need to make a short video not more than 5 minutes describing:
- explain why you are suitable for OEP
- describe any past entrepreneurial/internship experience
- provide an explanation on your choice of locations and preferred roles/ industries
- give your assessment of the profile of your preferred first-choice destination
And finally a resume and your degree audit.
2. Phone Call
One representative from the OEP team gave me a call to explain more about the OEP application process and answered any doubts that I had.
This was super helpful as he answered by questions about finances, company matching process, as well as details about the interview.
From what I understood, if I pass the interview round with the OEP team, I will get to shortlist my choices of startups to work at and further interviews will be arranged with them, until there is a match with one startup.
